My career began at as an IT/OT Specialist where I focused on conducting network audits, performing Wi-Fi surveys, documenting network architectures, I was often configuring switches, firewalls, and routers. I was proud to serve as a technical lead for network implementations during this time, where my responsibilities expanded to designing and deploying industrial networks, developing global network standards, responding to customer outages, and managing industrial networking projects. I moved into private industry, where I support a large scale manufacturing facility with expansions, standards development, device configuration and global standards implementation.

I hold a Master's in Information and Telecommunication Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Information and Telecommunication Systems, both from Ohio University. I also hold a Hirschmann HiES Certification and Cisco CCNA.

Throughout my career, I've honed a diverse skill set, including programming, scripting, and skilles in various hardware, protocols, and operating systems. I'm also committed to continuous learning, and sharing that information with colleagues, customers, and industry contacts. My experience has shown me that there are nuances to many aspects of manufacturing, some unique to customers, and some common pain points. The variety of my experience has uniquely prepared me to assist you - as a manufacturer, a systems integrator, an IT manager, controls manager, or anyone involved with manufacturing - and create a custom solution to address your specific needs.

In addition to my professional work, I'm actively involved in the Ohio University Warren J. McClure School of Emerging Communication Technologies Advisory Board and serve as a University Relations Employee Ambassador.

I'm excited about the future and the opportunities it holds to leverage my skills and experience to make a significant contribution in the field of Industrial Network Engineering.

Whether you need an IP address plan for a new machine, having trouble with PLC communications, or issues with MES pushing data to the cloud, I can help guide you on a path with the technical knowledge required while finding ways to minimize impact to production.
